What is EDMR?
Have you been stuck in recurring feelings of anxiety and/or depression? Do you fight against underlying beliefs that you are just not good enough? Do you suffer from flashbacks, sleep disturbances, and have a hard time regulating your emotional states?
Are you ready for amazing change and transformation? I have witnessed such dramatic change in clients with long-standing beliefs and distress, that I can hardly believe the results! Using this technique has changed the way I approach therapy and has added so much more opportunity for helping. If you have experience a long standing problem that feels hopeless, do NOT give up until you have received this type of therapy.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an advanced, evidenced based treatment that is highly effective for treating Posttraumatic Stress Syndrome, addictions, and many issues related to anxiety and depression.
Based on the fact that experience we have is stored the complex neuro network of our brain, it is common that intense emotional experiences can become somehat “locked in,” causing us to be easily triggered and often re-experiencing unwanted emotional upheaval . EMDR is a neurologically based treatment that allows our brain to “rewire” in essense, relieving long standing symptoms.
I received Level 2 training in EMDR a decade ago and attended various advanced trainings on a regular basis to continue growing in mastery of this useful skill.
